I started collecting Soul 45s in the mid 80’s, and started DJing with these things maybe ten years later. Now I’m a regular on one of the big weekenders in germany, The Soul Shakers Weekender“ in Bamberg. I do DJ occasionally outside germany, I was a guest DJ in Italy, Sweden, USA, Spain, UK, and Portugal. I love my Northern sides as much as the 70’s and early 80’s records and I like it funky too. I still collect soul music only in it’s original format and I surely won’t Stop doing it, as there’s nothing, that thrills me more than a quality soul 45, that I have never heard before.
